Assistant Project Manager
We're looking for a Assistant Project Manager – Interiors with 5+ years of experience in Interior Design or Architecture to join our passionate team. This role supports the coordination, scheduling, and execution of our multi-family housing projects. You’ll collaborate closely with Project Managers, designers, architects, and consultants to maintain project timelines and uphold the high design standards D&T is known for.

What You’ll Do
Support Project Managers in the full lifecycle of projects—from design concept to construction close-out
Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to meet project goals
Manage communication of key project updates, open items, and action steps
Assist in meeting tight deadlines and maintaining project momentum
Maintain and update specifications and internal project documentation
Review and respond to submittals and RFIs using Procore
Keep project records current and organized
Participate in weekly meetings and contribute to overall team efficiency
Help coordinate and produce construction documents with the project team
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field
5+ years of experience in Interior Design or Architecture
Proven technical and strong organizational skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
Comfortable reading and interpreting Architectural, MEP, and Landscape plans
Previous experience on multi-family residential projects a plus
Basic understanding of building codes, life safety requirements, and ADA standards
Ability to conduct project site visits and communicate effectively with contractors
Must be willing to work on-site in Torrance, CA
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
